"This one kid Mark at the party that gave me this came out of nowhere looked at the sky and told me to see the stars. So, I looked up, and we were in this giant dome like a glass snowball, and Mark said that the amazing white stars were really only holes in the black glass of the dome, and when you went to heaven, the glass broke away, and there was nothing but a whole sheet of star white, which is brighter than anything but doesn’t hurt your eyes. It was vast and open and thinly quiet, and I felt so small."

I didn’t like The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
fair enough. Why didn’t you like it? My experience is that everyone loves it, but I would love to hear another side!
I think that part of it had to do with how everyone loved it, because they really hyped me up for it. But when I read the book, it seemed very lack luster and not nearly as interesting and as well developed as I had hoped. The writing seemed a little off and I don’t know, I just couldn’t get into it. Dx
Yeah, it’s really annoying when stuff is over-sold to you. I’ve had that problem with a couple books in the past. Sometimes, I find if I reread them it helps, but I don’t know, you can’t like every book, can you.
